A West Auckland woman's battle with cancer inspired her partner to create 3D printed breasts for women who have undergone mastectomies.
Fay Cobbett, from Huapai, had the operation after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2015, but after deciding not to have reconstructive surgery, she struggled to find a comfortable alternative.
Her partner Tim Carr made one for her and, three years on, the couple are set to digitally map the first Kiwi women registered to receive custom-made breast prosthesis, based on their natural shape with their business myReflection.
